Cultural Celebration & Diversity

Culture provides individuals with a sense of identity and belonging. It shapes how people view themselves and their place in the world, fostering a sense of connection to their community, heritage, norms, and traditions.

Culture is the rich tapestry woven from the threads of traditions, beliefs, and practices that define a community. It’s the language we speak, the food we share, the stories we tell – all the elements that give us a unique sense of identity and belonging.

There are countless cultures, each vibrant and unique, adding to the richness of the human experience. Celebrating this diversity is not just about appreciating the differences; it’s about fostering understanding, empathy, and connection

We achieve this through:

  • Cultural trainings, camps for children born in Canada ages 4-20 years whose parents are immigrants (Ekisakaate)
  • Cultural conversation cafes – circles (Ekyooto)
  • Shared cultures with the Canada indigenous cultures
  • Music, Dancing and Drumming
  • Traditional Dinners and Fashion
  • Etiquette Classes – Style for Success.
